Sick Gaming Monetizing / Income Plan

Ways we plan to make money with Sick Gaming as a team/clan/logo/business.

Please be advised to look over the other pages for our other plans as they also outline other methods we can converse on taking.

Universal Monetization Methods:

  1. Link shortening with adf.ly or similar (5$ / 1k views, could have the website just auto generate adf.ly for any link that isn't sickgaming.net)

Website specific Monetization Methods:

  1. Website: Ads; We were running adsense ads, but had issues. Need to resign up and see how that goes. (This isn't a great way for in come these days it seems.)
  2. Website: Ad Space for sale; We could offer ad space at the top, within posts. Sticky threads in certain sections. I may make another section for the website game plan. We could charge weekly/monthly for ad space in certain areas and sections. Contact gaming developers, game hack creators and other gaming content currators to post ads to their products on our site.

Social Media Specific Monetization Methods:

  1. Social Media: offer to post ads at a defined times. EX: Charge $.50 per post/ad with a guarantee of 1k people seeing it. With instagram and facebook you can see analytics so we can always prove to people. Or could charge $100 for 20 posts and 100k views from our huge fan base. We could have a python script post their ad up on our social automatically from a server or home computer always running. We'd just have to set it up to start.

Youtube Specific Monetization Methods:

  1. Youtube: Could sell advertising spots within the video. Maybe a little section. Maybe flash banner or at the end credits ad a space to add a little ad for someone to buy space for that video. (Need more views on youtube and better track record there)
  2. Youtube: Offer to link to someones channel at the end of the video. I've seen other youtubers do it, we could do it for money. (need better track record)
  3. Youtube: contact people and do product reviews. Easy way to get free products and merchandise. (need examples already made, and graphics consistently)

Other Monetization Methods:

  1. Host tournaments: Rocket League, LOL, Rust (survival rings), Gmod (survival rings, I've seen a lot of money in gmod and minecraft.) Have 16 teams of 3 pay 5$ each. Pay 60% to winner, 30% to runner up maybe, keep 10% for website and hosts
  2. Host Servers Gmod, Rust, Ark, Minecraft (Charge for VIP, rustopia uses it to bypass waiting list.)
  3. Referrals: Spreadshirt; https://www.spreadshirt.com/ Design merch for people to buy so they feel like they are getting something for the donation/buy etc. Show in ad space on website or post every so often on social media.
  4. Offer Streaming packages. Custom setups. Cutscenes and more. (Requires quite a bit of graphics work and time)
