Welcome to Information and Links. This wiki is to help guide others into the process and what you can do with your login information

Adguard Setup

Adguard iPhone Setup

1.) Settings >> Wi-Fi >> (informational button next to wifi joined) >> Configure DNS >> Manual 2.) Enter these values:

  • 136.61.64.150
  • If using wireguard
    • 192.168.86.169
    • 192.168.86.239

Adguard Router Setup

This setup automatically covers all devices connected to your home router, no need to configure each of them manually.

  1. Open the preferences for your router. Usually, you can access it from your browser via a URL, such as http://192.168.0.1/ or http://192.168.1.1/. You may be prompted to enter a password. If you don't remember it, you can often reset the password by pressing a button on the router itself, but be aware that if this procedure is chosen, you will probably lose the entire router configuration. If your router requires an app to set it up, please install the app on your phone or PC and use it to access the routers settings.
  2. Find the DHCP/DNS settings. Look for the DNS letters next to a field which allows two or three sets of numbers, each broken into four groups of one to three digits.
  3. Enter your AdGuard Home server addresses there.
  4. On some router types, a custom DNS server cannot be set up. In that case, setting up AdGuard Home as a DHCP server may help. Otherwise, you should check the router manual on how to customize DNS.

Adguard Windows

  1. Open Control Panel through Start menu or Windows search.
  2. Go to Network and Internet category and then to Network and Sharing Center.
  3. In the left panel, click 'Change adapter settings'.
  4. Right-click your active connection and select Properties.
  5. Find 'Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)' (or, for IPv6, 'Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)') in the list, select it and then click on Properties again.
  6. Choose 'Use the following DNS server addresses' and enter your AdGuard Home server addresses.

Calibre Setup (eBook library)

Made to act like a generic e-ink dashboard for reading books. Very nice alternative to buying books. See if you will like it, and get a hard copy later! https://calibre-web.rcs1.top/

You will need a login to access. It keeps track of your read state and so much more. Download locally. Have the program read you the book. Search for text in a book. Very extensive.

FTP Setup (File transfer protocol, access all media for download)

What is FTP?

FTP = file transfer protocol. It's an easy way to download books, games, movies, music, tv, videos, and more from the server.

How to use? Download Filezilla or mount network drive on Windows 10 with sshfs software. (Look below for links)

  • RCS External Server IP: 136.61.64.150
  • RCS IPv6: 2605:a601:9132:d100:a51a:76d6:f31b:4f9
  • RCS Domain: rcs1.top # Reverse proxy behind Cloudflare (Should work and never changes like external ip)

Most ftp tools ask for port, using rcs1.top will not let port work

  • SSH Port: 6574 USER:pass is details given in PM.

Windows 10 FTP Network Folder Information Explained

FTP: rcs1.top Port: 6574 User:pass given uses SFTP protocols and not regular ftp. ssh ftp basically.

You can mount FTP locations through Windows 10 Click to open Files Browser >> Right Click This PC in the locations quick menu on the left.

You can mount the server to your iphone also:

  • iPhone > Files > Connect to Server > enter 'smb://192.168.86.239' > use given user/password Not sure how to do this without local connection (ethernet/wifi) Need wireguard or tailscale installed first

Jellyfin Setup

Media Center like Kodi or Plex. Contains: audiobooks+eBooks(fictional+educational), live tv (local channels able to be added), movies, music, videos (educational, memes, youtube, etc) all can be found here + more. I like the way it produces books and educational videos personally. Can make playlist and favorite things to keep up with what you want to watch.

You can access through website or app. Super versatile like plex.

Navidrome/Music Setup

Navidrome is the way for a successful music library. It has smart playlists already added. Custom updated regularly. Build your own playlist. Hide or share them with others. Ombi is the only way to request music currently. Working on a better setup. https://navidrome.rcs1.top/

There are many applications that work with navidrome also, instead of using safari, firefox, chrome, or edge. Check below for each device.

  • For iPhone: 'substreamer' is recommended. As I use it. Others that work well, 'play:Sub', 'Amperfy' and 'iSub' [open to new recomendation]
  • For Android: DSub, Subtracks, substreamer, Symfonium and Ultrasonic [Need recomendations what's best]
  • Desktop: Feishin (Linux/macOS) [Best imo], Sonixd (Windows/Linux/macOS) [second best, pretty good], Sublime Music (Linux), Supersonic (Windows/Linux/macOS), and Submariner (macOS)

Request Music, Movies, and TV Shows

1st method:

You can join the discord server and request in #requests channel under #Paid-Users category. I'll have to approve your account rq to enable this. Then use below command. /request movie Spiderman 2 or '/request tv Breaking Bad'. when you start typing '/req' you should see options to help you quickly fill it out.

2nd method:

Visit this website login, and use the GUI to guide you through the process.

Plex Setup

Plex is a media server setup to stream movies and tv shows securely. There was music and other videos which may be brought back at a later time. Feel free to use jellyfin to substitute for now. Can also make playlist and favorite things to keep up with what you want to watch.

The faster connection is direct connecting through ip. Using app.plex.tv will cause the connection to go through plex first.

RomM (Emulator/ROM Management)

TubeArchvist + Youtube-DL

Escape the dreadful youtube ads by downloading the video to our server, and finding it through Plex, Jellfyin, and even Navidrome for audio!

TubeArchivist will subscribe to users/playlists and auto download any new videos. You can submit videos/playlists/subscriptions for download here:

Login with supplied user/password. (Optionally: create playlist for auto downloads and submit playlist above.)

Youtube-dl is a video download app. It can download just about any video from any website. Youtube, vimeo, tiktok, facebook, instagram. It will download it and place it into /media/Videos/Youtube-DL. This location is auto synced to our streaming software Plex/Jellyfin. (Check links above)

Note: Youtube-dl is for individual videos from ANY website, tubearchvist is for subscribing to youtube channels and auto downloading anything YOUTUBE. I may rename youtube-dl later for easier remembering.
